Should I sell or move this Car?

I have a 2005 Pontiac vibe, paid $21,000 including tax. Now it is worth around $15000 if I sell it. I am going to move to puerto rico. The shipping fee is $1700 including insurance and $3100 import tax. I may stay in PR for 1-2 years. So should I sell it and buy a used car ($5000) or move it to Puerto Rico. Thanks for your suggestion.

I would just move your Pontiac to puerto rico. The reason I say that is I know your not going to gain money but your car is in good shape that you know of. How do you know when you get there your not going to buy some car that looks nice and end up with the junker special and end up spending more to repair it. I would just stick with the Pontiac vibe and pay the moving cost since its almost new and in good shape. Good Luck
