car insurance versus health insurance

car insurance versus health insurance
My father versus all the priests and pastors I’ve known why?

Why is it that my father, from a poor country, poor family, who worked hard to be a doctor, lose everything from times of war, escape from near death to get to America, to work hard to get back into the health field have to have everything less than priests and pastors? The survival, caring, pure intelligence(of science) and hardworking nature of my father does not yield him the life style of the religious liars. I watch as my dad is cheated from insurance companies, from taxes, take beatings from patients. And then across the street the priest has the biggest house, newly huge white fence to separate it from everyone else, the 4 new cars, and the kids going to private college, and the tax exemption. The knowledge and community support my dad has done exceedingly out ways the lies and effortless ways of the priest. My dad had to work hard. I as a scientist greatly loathe the church. I’ve studied religion for them. Have they studied science for me? No, the ignorance.

To me, it is best to focus on the success that one achieves in spite of adversity and because of hard work and diligence, rather than to lament what others have been given.

Your father and you can be proud of your achievements. Don’t lessen those achievements by feeling cheated by others.

Some may have been given their status. You earned yours. That should be enough to sooth the ego.
