Heres the deal: I was speeding, no denying that. I was passing a car 70mph (on speed limit of 70) and while I was passing the car it switch over to 55mph, and the cop was right at the sign.

Go to the clerk of the court before the court date, ask them if traffic school is a option,
For example in one county in TN , you never had to go to court, you get the paper work for traffic school from the clerk, go to school, and turn it in with court fees to the clerk, you never see the judge.

In another county in TN, you have to appear before the judge and ask for traffic school instead of a fine.

So you need to call the court and find out what thier procedure is, ( there is no one standard procedure in TN)
