What is a good cheap/free way to get a written appraisal on a classic car?

Very close to purchasing a classic car. In order to get the heavily discounted collector car insurance, I need a written appraisal of the car’s value. Just wondering what is a good way to go about getting a written appraisal for very cheap or free? I am on a pretty tight budget.

Getting a Utah driving licence with UK licence?

I need to get a Utah licence, but can’t just take the written test. Unfortunately, I can’t get insurance on a non-US licence so am not legally able to buy and drive a car, but I can’t pass the test without a car and don’t know anyone who could let me use there car or if I would be legally insured. This seems a classic chicken and egg problem any advice!

It seems to me UK has reciprocity with Utah, and most other states as well. You should be able to turn your UK licence in and receive a Utah licence without a test, assuming you are of age to have a full licence in Utah, and there are no restrictions on your UK licence. I believe you should only need, possibly, a vision test. You have taken up residence in Utah, I presume?

The first classic car?

Hi, I'm wanting to buy my first, but actually stuck key. I've always loved classic cars, but not sure. I love cars, caravans, as VW and GM (Dwarf). Unless I have said GM is a little "ponsey. = S I know the insurance can be high, but always Conventional insurance is limited mileage, etc do not worry, I'll find a way that would only really appreciate the suggestions of classic cars. My son, who just turned 18, has a pretty extensive traffic record. Firstly he has also been in 2 wrecks before, gotten arrested for possession of marijuana, and just today got a speeding ticket for going 63 in a 45(163 dollar ticket). currently the insurance for him is 190 a month which is five times higher than anybody in the family. So what should i expect the insurance to be now, and what are my options because this is a lot of money. Also i live in kansas.

does anyone know of any good classic car insurance companies that will cover Northern Ireland?

I use Quinn Direct which I think is in Dublin, don’t know if it will cover nothern ireland, they are cheap tho. hope this helps
