I live in Hamilton, Ontario and I am going to be buying a car soon…INSURANCE! Help…?

I am going to be buying a car in about a few weeks, I am 17 right now but will be 18 in a few weeks also. I really need a car to get to school everyday starting in September since it’s really far from where I live. I live in Hamilton, ON in the downtown area. I have what is called a “G1″ license (most pathetic thing I’ve heard of) but I will need insurance to get the car (I know…it sucks!) Does anyone know of the CHEAPEST insurance company for someone like me to deal with in Hamilton, Ontario – everyone is saying I will be paying a fortune but which company can I get the cheapest rates with (TD Canada Trust says they don’t even insure G1 license holders)?
